Hi Dagmar,
on the homepage were some interesting office concepts. Some of them I have never seen before. From my point of view, the “Vital Protein” office concept from Chicago is very innovative. The large and bright rooms are ideal for a good working atmosphere. The possibility for short meetings directly on the stairs is a great idea. Furthermore, the interior decoration of beachwood and whitewashed bricks is very stylish. What I also like is the in-house coffee-service described in the article.
A very interesting concept is that of the company Runtastic. In addition to the large and open office spaces, the employees have their own workout zones at their disposal. Furthermore, numerous bar tables offer an alternative to the sedentary everyday working life.
You spend about 50% of the time you are awake in the office. Therefore, a pleasant working atmosphere plays an important role, says Florian Gschwandtner, CEO & CO-Founder of Runtastic. Link to the company --> https://www.runtastic.com

In this article very extraordinary offices are described.
From my point of view all offices are very interesting and have something special.
I especially noticed the office of the company Trend micro. This office actually resembles a museum and contains historical things from ancient egypt. I think that this office combines modern elements with old elements and offers a great working atmosphere for every person. I think that the atmosphere in this office is very good and it is really fun to work in such an extraordinary office.
There is a very excitingly designed office at the company Mojang, which developed the computer game "Minecraft". The rooms were furnished in the old style and remind of a mafia movie. There are old leather armchairs, an old carpet and a pool table. The company Mojang with its cool office also participated in a competition for the most beautiful office in Sweden. I like this old style of furnishing and I would feel comfortable in this office. However, I believe that this office is not suitable for all people, because it is very dark and gloomy.

Hi Dagmar.
The first of these innovative offices that caught my eye was the "Mindvalley" in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The intermediate platforms create additional space and loosen up the building. But you certainly have to be free from vertigo to work here.
The idea of the changing play of colours through the different coloured shadows also attracts attention. But in my opinion this can also have distracting effects. The additional facilities such as the fitness studio, hypnotherapy rooms and bed capsules are impressive. Also the more than 800 plants certainly contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere, which certainly has a motivating effect. It is certainly pleasant to work there.
You can find more about this company under: https://www.mindvalley.com/?utm_source=google
As I continued my search for particularly cool offices, I discovered under https://www.artsy.net/article/artsy-editorial-7-innovative-office-spaces-designed-spark-creativity
“LEGO” Billund, Denmark. I was immediately fascinated by the shelves with examples of the various LEGO works. The whole cosy atmosphere of this office made me dream of being part of the design team. I could then realise the childhood dreams that were not possible back then. But the goal in any business is certainly to create new, profitable products. The whole environment is certainly supportive, but I think the slide is an eye-catcher that is not really necessary.
Best regards,
Christian

SOUNDS GREAT AND MATCHES THE PRODUCT THE COMPANY SELLS (OR SOLD). Furthermore, numerous bar tables offer an alternative to the sedentary everyday working life.

Hi Dagmar,
in comparison to my office, every concept looks vastly superior. In my opinion, the Gusto in San Francisco looks insane. Especially because I know these old factory halls quiet well because at the company where I work, we have nearly the same. But unfortunately we use them for bogie production. Maybe I should make proposal to my management to use it as a office, but I think will call me crazy… The only point I question I ask myself is, how the acoustics must be… I think It must be awful.
In my research and I’ve found a compilation of the google offices. Working there must really be an excited adventure. I don’t know which would choose… Maybe I would prefer the office in Toronto, miniature golf and a dj set looks like quiet a lot of fun with colleagues. But unfortunately, you also have to work…

@Christian
I love the LEGO Office! It reminds me of my childhood.
I think playing with lego really promotes the creativity, the only think I worry about is, if they have many accidents at work, because stepping on a LEGO-Brick is worst pain.

Dear Dagmar,
Of all these offices the one that is designed to welcome dogs is definitely the one i would choose to work in. The others have some interesting points, for example working in that big industrial hall with cranes on the roof might be fun but after all that i am still very old fashioned when it comes to my workplace. For me the perfect workplace would be a big corner office on the top floor in which i can concentrate on my work alone all day.

Daniel

Hello Dagmar,
I find the office of Gusto really interesting. It is a very good idea to use such an histsorical building and make something unforgetably for the employees and the customers. I think with this great colisse it is ,much more fun to write software.
Another office I find stunning is the one of the company Slack. Based in San Francisco the company's office is modeled after different regions of the Pacific Crest Trail. I think that is a really cool idea. With this office the employees are defintely more relaxed and can work more productivly.
Best wishes,
Lukas Allmer

I VISITED GOOGLE IN DUBLIN EARLIER THIS YEAR AND IT´S PRETTY AMAZING - ESPECIALLY THE AMOUNTS OF FREE FOOD THEY GET. BUT THESE COMPANIES PROBABLY ALSO WANT THEIR EMPLOYEES TO SPEND MOST OF THEIR TIME AT THE OFFICE, SO THERE´S ALSO A DOWNSIDE TO THIS I GUESS ... GOOD POST!

I really like the Trend Micro Office in Cairo, Egypt, because it is verry smooth designed with wooden elements, and natural materials. I think this office Concept allows people to do their work in a relaxing way. Even though wenn you have stress, the atmosphere is very appeasing.
Also Google's new Tel Aviv Office available at https://officesnapshots.com/2013/01/31/google-tel-aviv-office-design/ is designed in the same way, but might be a bit superior than the Tren Micro office.
Best Regards,

Hello Dagmar,
On this homepage were 10 very interesting office concepts. The most of them I have never seen before. In my opinion, the Gusto office concept from San Francisco is the nicest of the office concepts.. I like the rustical retro design and the high walls. To use a not needed historical industry place for a office is a very good idea.

I also like the autodesk concept from San Francisco. To sit on swing with your colleagues should make a lot of fun..

Hi Dagmar,
In this article they show how a modern workplace could look like. I think all of them are cool and one thing they have in common is that there are no small offices anymore. Such an offices can increase the human relations and also the productivity will be better. If I had to choose between one of these offices, I would like to work in the Gusto in San Francisco. That is the reason that I work in a technical profession myself and therefore I find the industrial look very enjoyable.
The headquarter from Google was one of the first offices in the world, where they tried to be completely different to a normal office. They wanted to make their offices more comfortable and for this, they build up special lounges with free coffee and a table tennis. In addition, they also keep an eye on the nutrition of the employees, with fast food being completely avoided.

Hi Dagmar,
your linked website is very interesting and shows what interesting concepts there are for office design. A great implementation has succeeded here in San Francisco at the company Gusto. Where an old factory was converted into a modern office space. I think it's brilliant that they have involved the old portal crane in the architecture. There are also retreat possibilities provided.
The company C&P Immobilien AG in Graz (Brauquartier) has a great concept here, which is based on the trendsetting open-space office. The office building was newly built a few years ago and the focus here is on design and modern architecture.
